Wright grew up in Louisville, along with her brother, where she attended LeGrande Elementary and Seneca High School. She had already become involved in acting as a child, performing in local drama productions and also with The Kentucky Ambassadors of Music in Europe. She pursued a modeling career at the age of 14, and was eventually discovered by the Mossimo model search contest’s organizers. She then moved to Chicago, where she had an opportunity to play the role of Paige Chase in the popular Fox sitcom “Quintuplets” in 2004, the performance which paved her way into the acting world. From then, other opportunities began to come her way, and after guest appearances in the television series “CSI: Miami” and “Malcom In the Middle”, she was cast in a starring role as Lizzie in another Fox sitcom, “The Loop”, in 2006. The same year she landed the recurring role as Jane in the family drama series “7th Heaven”. These performances brought Wright needed recognition in the acting industry and her net worth started to rise.
In the meantime, she made her film debut, appearing in the 2006 MTV drama “All You’ve Got” as Lauren McDonald. The year 2008 was very productive for Sarah, as she appeared in several films, including “Made of Honor”, “Wieners”, “The House Bunny” and “Surfer, Dude”. All added to her wealth.
In the years to come, Wright landed numerous television guest appearances, such as in the series “Mad Men”, “How I Met Your Mother” and “The Middle”. In 2011 she secured a recurring role as Tiffany McDermott in the CBS series “Mad Love”, and another one as Millicent Gergich in the NBC sitcom “Parks and Recreation”. This was followed by further film roles, such as in “Touchback”, “Celeste and Jesse Forever”, “21 & Over” and “Walk of Shame”. She had a recurring role of Molly in the comedy series “Men at Work” in 2013, and as Laura in the sitcom “Mixology” in the following year. She then starred as Dennah in the NBC sitcom “Marry Me” from 2014-2015. All of the projects have significantly contributed to her net worth.
Wright is currently filming “American Made”, an upcoming biographical criminal drama film, announced to be released in late 2017.
